Kyuuga Region several different occupations for you to chose from. This way not everyone is a trainer or coordinator. Below you will find all the information needed for each occupation.

• TRAINERS
  A Pokemon Trainer is someone who catches, trains, and battles with pokemon.

  A Pokémon Coordinator is a person who catches and trains pokemon to compete in Pokemon Contest's.
  
  
• BREEDERS
  A Pokémon Breeder is someone who catches, raises and mates there pokemon to reproduce specific improvements in future generations of Pokémon. Such as natures, individual values and certain moves they wish there pokemon to know.
  
  
• AMARANTE GANG
  Team Kuro is a villainous group of trainers who believe that they are far more superior than others and that only they have the right to control pokemon.
  
  
• KYUUGA RANGERS
  The Kyuuga Rangers are a group of trainers who believe in fighting for pokemon's rights. They fight against Team Kuro almost constantly. They fight to keep the word, people and pokemon safe from them.
  
  
• GYM LEADERS
  A Gym Leader is the highest ranking member of a Pokémon Gym.
  
  
• ELITE 4
  The Elite Four are four Pokémon Trainers who are regarded as the toughest in their regional Pokémon League, short of the Pokémon League Champion.

Trainers


A Pokémon Trainer is a person who catches, trains, and battles with pokemon. The majority of people within the known Pokémon world are Trainers.

So, I think everyone has the basic idea of what a trainer is.

You collect eight gym badges and then challenge the Elite 4. Kyuuga also hosts a yearly Indigo League in which everyone can participate in.

Coordinator


A Pokémon Coordinator is someone who raises Pokémon to compete in Pokémon Contests.

They raise their Pokémon much like Pokémon Trainers do, although with much more emphasis on beauty and appearances since they are major factors when it comes to points in Contests. They need to train their Pokémon to have beautiful moves, and be able to do well in battles, as a battle tournament is the second round of a Contest.

Coordinators need a Contest Pass from a particular region to enter Contests there. Like Trainers, Coordinators travel throughout their region to catch and raise their Pokémon. However, unlike Trainers, their goal is to collect Ribbons instead of badges. But unlike badges, Coordinators only get a single shot of winning a particular ribbon from a particular contest. They also must compete with other Coordinators for that ribbon. They need to collect five ribbons by winning various Contests in the region in order to be able to participate in that region's Grand Festival. If they win the Grand Festival, they will be awarded the Ribbon Cup.

The anime follows a more visual appeal and consists of a number of competitors for a tournament-style match. In role play it's rather difficult to do both because every one has to use their imagination and the fact that many members can go inactive at a time. Because of this we have come up with a hopefully better program that can make being a coordinator fun and doable.

As a coordinator, you..

• Can catch and train pokemon
  
• Earn ribbons in contest competitions
  
• Participate in the Grand Festival once all 5 ribbons are collected
  

It's basically like a trainer except you earn ribbons instead, and you do not need the minimum of eight badges like a trainer does. To be a coordinator, you must have a contest pass, which you will receive in your starter pack.

In Depth Guide

Unlike trainers, coordinators do not focus on just battling. They battle, as well as show off a flashy performance. Contests are separated into two different matches: performance, and then battle.

In performance, it is the coordinators' job to impress the judge (in this case, the mod) with a spectacular move combination. The performance lasts for two turns (two posts from you, two posts from a mod). In these two turns, it is your job to make a stylish combination of moves. In each turn you are allowed to use two moves, making it a total of four moves altogether. You may use a single move if you like. It is required that you add in some effect of the move and how it is performed. Points will be docked off if you do not do this.


Grand Festival

The Grand Festival is where all coordinators gather once they have won all five ribbons and challenge against each other to win the Ribbon Cup. To allow all coordinators to participate, there are rules to keep the system running smoothly and fairly.

• You must have all five ribbons to participate! You must also have traveled all the way through Kyuuga and reached the hosting site of the Grand Festival.
  
• The Grand Festival is a timed event, meaning it will only open up at a certain time of the year and go on for a certain amount of time. You must have registered your character before the tournament starts. Any applications after that will be denied.
  
• This tournament is staff-run, but the competitors will be member vs member, no NPCs. The tournament will run the same style as a regular contest, but during battle rounds, members will have to face each other. It will be a process of elimination and there will be three winners in the end.
  
• Double battles are possible (this can also apply to regular contests)
  

During Grand Festivals, matches will be separated for each individual members during the performance round. For the battle round members will be paired up with their opponent and then have their own thread to role play in. At the end of the battle, please put a sign in the title to signify the match is over so that mods can come and set up the winner's next opponent.

BREEDERS


A Pokémon Breeder is primarily a Pokémon Trainer who raises and mates carefully selected Pokémon to reproduce specific improvements in future generations of Pokémon, such as moves, individual values, or natures.

Pokémon breeders typically concern themselves with raising Pokémon for health and happiness, rather than for Pokémon battles. They also participate in beauty contests and related competitions—not to be confused with Pokémon Contests, though it is common for them to take interest in these as well.

Aspects of Pokémon breeders in the anime typically also handle or cover include:

• Monitoring, taking care of, and hatching Pokémon eggs
  
• Pokémon grooming
  
• Pokémon nutrition

Breeders are special and have unique abilities that other occupations do not. As a breeder, you...

• Can catch and train pokemon
  
• Breed pokemon
  
• Create and host your own breeding farm in which you can make a profit
  
• Can carry more than six pokemon (a total of seven pokemon: six regular pokemon and one baby pokemon)
  
• Have a choice of either battling in gyms or contests, or even both
  
• Start of with two pokemon instead of one {same species opposite genders}

Breeders have exceptional power, but there are rules to be a breeder.

• Out of the seven pokemon that breeders carry, one of them cannot battle, and must stay out of its pokeball. This would be the baby pokemon of the group, if you have any.
  
• Breeders are given a breeder license along with their starter kit which allows them too create their own breeding farm. You may request and sell bred pokemon in these farms and are allowed to make your own personal prices. BE FAIR!!. Also, endangered pokemon are NOT allowed to be bred unless by g-mods or admins.
  
• You are only allowed to have seven pokemon in your farm at a time.
  
• To become a coordinator, you must purchase a contest pass. If you choose to be a trainer you do not need to purchase anything.

Amarante Gang


Every region has its own little villainous team running around ruining everything for everyone with their own evil quest to some sort of world-disastrous event. And yes, Kyuuga is an exception.

The Amarante Gang is a villainous group of trainers who believe that they are far more superior than others and that only they have the right to control pokemon. As such, their missions consist of stealing pokemon, world domination, and most importantly, taking control of legendary pokemon.

Kyuuga Rangers


To fight against Team Kuro, a organization of good-doers was founded, known as the Kyuuga Rangers.

The Kyuuga Rangers are an organization of freedom fighting trainers who are against Team Kuro's beliefs and demands and fight to keep the world, pokemon and human society safe.

A member of the Kyuuga Rangers..

• Can participate in both gyms and contests (but must purchase a contest pass to participate in contest)
  
• Can participate in missions, according to their status position.

Gym Leaders


A Gym Leader is the highest ranking member of a Pokémon Gym. The main job of a Gym Leader is to test Trainers and their Pokémon so that they are strong and resourceful enough to compete against the Elite Four in the games or the Pokémon League in the anime. If a Trainer defeats a Gym Leader in battle, then the Trainer earns that Gym's Badge.

A Gym Leader's job is not just to test upcoming Trainers. They must oversee how their respective gym is run and to maintain it. Great care must be taken to make sure that their gym reflects the best environment for the Pokémon type and playing style of choice, usually an environment that suits that type of Pokémon used there (like pools in a Water-type gym or flowers and plants in a Grass-type gym). According to Morty, teaching young people how to battle with Pokémon can also be the job of a Gym Leader.

It has not exactly been made clear how Gym Leaders attain their position, but it appears that it varies for each gym. Some of them founded their gym and are self-appointed; others, such as Whitney, are chosen by the other members of the region's Pokémon League. A few appear to be passed on through families: Janine, Falkner, and Flannery all take over their respective gyms from a close family member. However, Gyms do not necessarily belong to a particular family; Roark and his father Byron are both Gym Leaders at the same time, in different Gyms. Leaders can also choose to vacate their position; examples include Koga, Giovanni, and Wallace.

Although similar in nature, Frontier Brains are not considered Gym Leaders.

Yes, everyone, you can choose to be a gym leader. But because there are only eight gyms total (minus the fact that Gary Oak somehow managed to get ten badges in which only two of them were actually included into the anime WTF) only eight characters can be accepted as a gym leader.

Unlike the other occupations in which you start out with no pokemon, gym leaders must have pokemon that fits the standard levels of their gym. Gym leaders can have over six pokemon though, but may only use a certain number of pokemon in gym match.

Gym leaders are given the ability to travel around Magnolia and catch and train pokemon. Being gym leaders, they cannot participate in gyms or contests UNLESS

• you are a gym leader who would like to participate in contests (contest pass must be purchased)
  
• you are a contest leader who would like to participate in contests
  

Gym leaders may be breeders, but must purchase a breeders license.

As a gym leader, members must keep in mind that you will hold a responsibility to role play with members who challenge your gym, and you must keep up an active pace, as well as be fair.

There will be wins and there will be losses.

At the end of a battle, trainers receive money. Gym leaders are unable to add on to a member's money, and so you must alert a staff member of this through PM.

Elite Four


The Elite Four are four Pokémon Trainers who are regarded as the toughest in their regional Pokémon League, short of the Pokémon League Champion. Those who challenge the Elite Four must have won all eight Badges from that region and face all four and the current Champion consecutively without losing to any of them.

Members are also given the option of making a character who is part of the Elite 4, as well as the Elite 4 champion.

Basically similar to a gym leader. Forms must be accepted in the Auditions board.
