Nita sat up in a tree on route one looking up at the clouds. She had bean to busy lately for any time to relax. Lyric was out in the fields some where doing god knows what. But she knew that she was in fine. She was her strongest pokemon. Nita's very first pokemon her starter from when she was ten years old.
As the sun began to made the clouds began to turn brilliant colors of orange, and red. It was absolutely beautiful. She was so lost in it's beauty that she didn't hear the footsteps on the path until they where right below her. Looking down she saw a boy about her age maybe a year older than her with very pale skin and short silver gray hair. She was pretty sure he didn't know that she was there. Smiling she looked back up at the sun set.
"Beautiful isn't?" She called down to him. She wondered how he would react to her. Pulling out a small flute from her pocket she began playing softly. Several bird type pokemon flew over the the tree and looked down at her as she played. Eventually one by one they began to sling along with her. Nita loved bird type pokemon they where so elegant yet they where strong and fierce at the same time.
Eventually Lyric padded out from the fields and sat down at the foot of the tree and looked up watching Nita play. She raised her head and howled loudly in tune with the flute.

It was a long trip from his home town to the begginer town; he had been so exhausted, that he ended up staying the night there due to he had been traveling all day the day before. Pyro seemed egar to leave the next day, and Michael had all of his needed items from the lab, so he couldn't help but do as his Pokemon wished. After picking up a few more items at the Poke'Mart and making sure - for the fifth time - that he had everything, Michael made his way through route one. He had heard that you could catch your first Pokemon there, so he knew that would be a better start. However, Pyro was easily frightened, so he knew that the little fire type wouldn't be up for a fight. Michael could only hope that a nice Pokemon that would join freely.
He almost wanted to go right back home and start all over again, tell his father that he was lying and that he wasn't really gay; however with his father, once you said something to him, you couldn't take it back no matter how hard you tried. Plus, lying wasn't one of his specialties, weather it be to someone else or him self. It was one of his fatal flaws, he had told his sister before leaving. However, she merely smiled and gave him a strong hug, telling him that he would make a great trainer and an excellent breeder, that he wouldn't have to worry. Although, he wasn't too sure when she spoke of him finding the "right one" one day; as far as he knew, no one liked Homosexuals, nor were they, so it would be pretty hard to find the "right one."
It seemed that Michael had chosen the right time of day to travel; there was no one in sight, and Michael hadn't passed anyone nor ran into anyone since they had begun from the town. Which was a good thing for the fire-type trailing behind him; he would be in his trainer's arms burning him right now if they had met anyone along the little trail. Although he was cute, Pyro could be a bit of a menace when it came to new people. Then again, Michael was just the same way; he really didn't like new people too much, and couldn't get along with others whom disapproved of his sexuality. Which was stupid; your sexuality didn't change who you were on the inside. It just changed the views of whom you liked. [If it doesn't make sense, then you obviously don't know.]
"Mag Magby Mag Magby Magby," the little fire type muttered behind him, and he almost wanted to turn and ask what was wrong.
However, he couldn't understand the Pokemon anyways; he wasn't a Pokemorph, nor had he had the ability to do so. So the trainer merely left it alone and kept walking, Pyro seeming to struggle keeping along. He was small; Magby never got that big as Michael understood. However Magmar were much larger, and Magmortar..... well he didn't need too get a scale to know how much larger that Pokemon was to him. Which was probably why he liked it so much, anyways. It was so strong and powerful, as well as it could learn all of the elemental punches. Pyro already knew one of those punches - although he could easily hurt someone with them, as he learned - so he was only a few away from learning them all.
Michael was so deep in thought, he barely noticed the flute that played; in fact, he thought that his mind was thinking it up all on it's own. Pyro, however, easily heard the sound, and stopped dead in his tracks, fear bubbling over him. After a moment of walking, Michael realized that his Pokemon had stopped following him, and spun around on his heel as he stopped to look at his frightened Pokemon, a look confusion on his face as his hands exited from his pockets to reach out to his Pokemon and pick him up.
"You okay?" Michael asked, taking a step forward towards his Pokemon. Then he noticed the sound; quickly he spun around a couple of times to look for the source, however failed to locate it, only a spotting a Herdier lying under a tree. Wait a minute.
A wild Herdier? It couldn't be!

Nita continued to play the flute and watch the flying type pokemon sing along with her. Though no matter how much she got lost in the music she kept one eye on the boy. Who apparently hadn't heard her. She shrugged and continued playing until the song was finished. Once done she put the flute away and sighed. She brush a stray lock of her hair out of her face and looked down again. She noticed a magby. She knew it would be impossible for a wild magby to be around this are it wasn't the right environment. So she figured it was the boys.
Jumping down she landed gracefully next to Lyric and scratched her left hear. "Beautiful just like always Lyric. Maybe we can catch another pokemon that loves to sing as well." She smiled and looked up at the boy wondering if he would recognize her. "Hi I'm Nita and this is Lyric." She used her nick name because few people knew her by Nita. Everyone new her by her first name Natalie. She waited for the boy to introduce himself and his magby. When he didn't she turned and whistles and out of the field. several eevee evolutions came running toward them. She called each one back into there poke'balls one at a time. "As you can see I specialize in eevee evolutions." Her smile remained on her face frozen nervously. That was the most she ever said to a stranger unless they where a challenger.
As the last rays of the sun set and darkness began to slowly cover the land a howling could be heard in the distance. Whether they where wild Herdier's, Stoutland's, Poochyena's or what ever they where awfully close to them.
Lyric stood up and growled her pelt sticking up on the back of her neck. Looking up at Nita for a second she whimpered than went back to growling.
Sighing Nita swung her back pack on her back that had bean sitting on the foot of the tree. "Looks like we might be having company shortly. If I where you I would suggest getting ready for a battle." The boy's pokemon had newbie written all over it. If they where attacked it would all rely on her and Lyric to protect them. She would only use her eevee evolutions if she had no other choice. Reaching into her pocket Nita pulled out a pale purple bandanna and tied it around her forehead than grabbed her flute. She thought better when she was playing for some reason. She didn't know why.
